FBR-Fenton oxidation is an improved technology from conventional Fenton methods. It combines several mechanisms, including homogeneous Fenton reaction, heterogeneous H2O2/FeOOH reaction, fluidized-bed crystallization and reduction/dissolution of FeOOH. The optimal application range of COD is less than 500 mg/L. The advantages of FBR-Fenton oxidation are lower dosage of Fe2+ and 60% reduction of sludge generation compared to conventional Fenton method.
