Electrolytic reduction of residual chlorine - New technology for oxidant removal

Electrolytic reduction of residual chlorine - New technology for oxidant removal
Introduction

Chlorine is commonly used as oxidation and disinfection reagent. Excess residual chlorine has high risk to human health and production equipment. ITRI has developed the world's first electrochemical dechlorination technology for residual chlorine (including HOCl, OCl-) removal. This device is small size, high efficiency, no consumables, and easy to use. The technology does not produce byproducts with no risk of electrode substance dissolved. The device can also be designed as different configurations and modules based on the various needs. It is easy to integrate with pipeline and vessel with high performance in wide applications.
